This hotel in a quiet little town exceeded our expectations in many ways. The friendly staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, providing extra fans for the hot weather and even heating our baby's milk. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and impeccably clean. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the charming château. And let's not forget the delicious food - every dish we tried was high quality and generously portioned. We will definitely be coming back!

Unusually for France, and very welcome, there was access to analogue, digital terrestrial and free satellite TV channels. Unfortunately the control system, whilst appropriate for the technically inclined, was not at all intuitive for the general user. Like most hotels in France (and l'Auberge d'Alsace was certainly no worse than others) there was little television available for the British visitor - just one CNN news channel. Since the British constitute a large proportion of tourist visitors to France I think more might be done to meet their needs.

All aspects of my stay were absolutely fine.

The room was at the back of the hotel so quiet. It wasn't huge but it had a beautiful bathroom with a body jet large shower. Best of all, there were tea and coffee making facilities and we could get bbc World news on the television, which were luxuries we had not received during our stay in France. Although the hotel was not very big it had restaurant which surved local specialities and I had the nicest duck that I ever had and the owner was really pleasant. We would stay there again and I would highly recommend it.

The room was large and comfortable with a good shower room. The food was very good too.

Arrived on a Monday to find the restaurant closed and just a plat du jour for supper.Pork knuckle with sauerkraut - O.k for my husband but I cannot stand sauerkraut. They kindly cooked me chips instead and made a small salad. So the food was excellent and the wine too. They even gave us the cheese for their own table to finish. The room was vast and had a sofa.So all in all a very pleasant stay. Next time we will go when the flammenkusche oven is alight.

The attention to detail in the hotel was impressive, with spacious and well-furnished rooms that were always spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with a nearby château just a short walk away. Additionally, the food served at the hotel's restaurant was exceptional, with generous portions and a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from, including unique options like the creamy Flammenküchens and the surprisingly tasty sauerkraut.

The breakfast was advertised as a 'buffet breakfast', but the variety and quantity of food was very dissapointing, especially for the price.

Arrived on a Monday, restaurant closed but before we arrived we checked to see if food would be made available, we were told yes but no choice, a fixed menue. When it was served it was very poor and very expensive. Not much else available in the town.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Best aspects included clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a delicious breakfast with a good variety of choices. Additionally, the hotel's location made it easy to walk to nearby attractions and there was ample parking available.
